Spi-Ceramic coatings are highly adherent nanocrystalline thin films deposited using N2 Biomedical’s low temperature ion beam assisted deposition process. Aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, and titanium oxide are among the ceramics used to enhanced hardness, improve corrosion resistance, and provide electrical insulation. The coatings can be applied to polymer, metal, and ceramic devices.
